US Senator Elizabeth Warren has called for the Senate to halt crypto legislation, citing concerns over a $2 billion deal involving former President Donald Trump and the United Arab Emirates. The deal, which Warren describes as a "pathway to huge corruption," has raised red flags due to its opaque nature and potential foreign influence.

Warren specifically targeted the GENIUS Act and a Trump-linked stablecoin that surged to become the 7th largest globally. "The Senate shouldn’t pass a crypto bill this week to facilitate this kind of corruption," she stated in a recent tweet. The controversy highlights ongoing tensions between regulatory oversight and the crypto industry’s rapid growth.
